Panoak Oil & Gas Corporation was founded in 1973 to acquire energy resources, provide investment opportunities for its stock holders, and explore for and produce oil and natural gas in anticipation of shortages of these products.  Panoak's growth through the 1970's was meteoric; with the development of hundreds of oil and gas wells, the construction of gas pipeline gathering and processing facilities, coupled with aggressive investment in real-estate and manufacturing.  During the early 1980's Panoak's management consolidated its operations and repositioned its direction in advance of the adverse changing dynamics of this industry, the economy, and market forces.  Panoak's success has been achieved by anticipating trends, pivoting its profile, and redeploying its assets; thus creating a strong company with renewed vitality and maximum service to its customers.
